CABC

The Central Alberta Bicycle Club plays host to this years Red Deer Criterium on June 10th 2012.  The CABC is a bicycle club that has a diverse membership with plenty to offer.  We offer opportunity for youth development in the sport as well as companionship for the everyday beginner cyclist.  If you want to get serious, the CABC can also offer coaching as well as training rides and a Tuesday night race series to get you into shape!

This year, the CABC is expanding and joining forces with some already strong youth and adults who train and race downhill.  Also, in conjunction with Wipeout Ski and Bike, we will host weekly rides for all skill levels in both "Mountain Bike" and "Road Cycling" disciplines.  These rides will include youth and beginner cyclists.  Please visit the CABC website for more details about membership and the club.

Here is a basic breakdown of the weekly schedule for 2012:

Monday - Mountain bike rides for all levels @ 6pm from Wipe-out. Junior to Adult. Encouraging new and youth riders to explore the trails in Red Deer.  
Tuesday - Road race night. 
Thursday - Road riding for beginner to intermediate @ 6pm from Wipe-out. New to road riding? We can help. 
Saturday - Group road ride. Beginner to Advanced Depart 09:30 from Capri/Sheraton. 
Sunday - Group road ride. Beginner to Advanced Depart 09:30 from Capri/Sheraton.
